QingQin “Serena” Li
Serena is a Scientific Director of Neuroscience Data Science at Johnson & Johnson. She is a mission-focused, problem-orientated, versatile scientific leader/computational biologist with 21+ years of experience championing Data Science from strategic vision to execution. She has track records in leading internal and external collaborative projects ranging from observational clinical studies to incorporating digital health strategy (study design and successful implementation from the lens of Data Science). She is also a leader in biomarker data strategy.
As a hands-on scientist and thought leader in the biomedical and informatics field, Serena will provide guidance on the projects that the foundation will fund to make our research and investment more impactful to healthcare.
Serena received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Fudan University, a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Chicago, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Modular Biology from Emery University. She also has three postdoctoral degrees from Emery University; Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital; and The University of Chicago and Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
