Since its inception in 2014, the Integral Healthcare Foundation (IHF), a 501(c) non-profit, has targeted three main issues in order to improve the U.S. healthcare system: the number of unused technological inventions, the lack of students studying to be a part of the public health workforce, and as a result, the diminishing workforce size.
To improve healthcare for our nation by implementing technologies funded for by grant dollars, expanding the healthcare and public health workforce, and promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education and implementation. Through technology, training, and educational activities the IHF intends to enhance the efficiency and productivity of healthcare and public health personnel while simultaneously reducing costs and medical errors.
